A place about Per

A real pub

A while back I told Per that when he was older we would go to a pub together to watch soccer. Well, today Tania had a leave pass and the boys decided they'd go to the pub for dinner. Per was incredibly excited, just couldn't wait. I decided to take him to a pub called "The Local" - it's a short walk down the road, serves great food and looks fantastic. But then we walked in and Per's face dropped. I couldn't believe it, he'd been so excited. Well, it turns out that the problem was that this was not a real pub. "Not a real pub?" I say, "yes it is. Look, there's beer on tap, a counter, lot's of glasses on the wall, there's even a fireplace". But no, it's not a real pub "because they're not playing footie". I ended up getting the bar maid to help me convince Per that this really, absolutely was a real pub before he decided that it was ok to stay and have dinner there.
